Fry-IT are a technology solutions provider based in London. We were founded in 2000 by two researchers from Imperial College and our roots are in the Open Source world. We are passionate believers in democracy in the work place and believe this can lead to huge business benefits.
Fry-IT creates software solutions from small businesses to large enterprises. Our clients include the NHS (numerous trusts, Connecting for Health), mobile operators (Vodafone, Orange, O2), financial services (IMS, Thomas Murray) and startups (Quick-2-Find, OCH, VingoTV).
We create web-based applications, content managements systems and mobile applications. Our aim is to help our clients to concentrate on their core business (by removing the worries about the technology that drives it) and greatly enhance their productivity (by providing systems and services that help them to streamline their operation).
Our business philosophy can be summed up in two words:
He was the main inspiration for setting up Fry-IT. We share his ideas that business can work better for all involved (clients as well as work-force) if you apply basic democratic principles. The founders couldn't find a company to work for which was built on the principles Ricardo describes in his books, so they decided to set one up.
