Fry creates iPhone and Android apps to support BT's Corporate Social Responsibility commitments
Background
Part of BT's Corporate Social Responsibility commitments, Coaching for Life is a free online programme designed to help parents, grandparents, carers and older siblings improve their coaching skills for six to 11 year olds through a series of children's outdoor games.
It includes an easy-to-use online resource pack featuring coaching tips to help adults develop the confidence, skills and performance of children in a fun way. There are also twelve ‘how to' videos available online to help children learn new games.
Challenge
Because it focuses on outdoor ball games, BT wanted to make the videos and other material available as iPhone and Android apps.
Solution
BT engaged fry through their creative partner Howell Wong Costello. We developed the iPhone & Android apps that serve the online videos showing children how to play the games. We managed the provisioning onto the App Store and ensured full lifecycle management.
Result
Children and carers can now get their coaching tips when they're out and about.
